PRESIDENT & TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
As President for Hidden Treasure Productions, I follow the Servant-leadership model that one man used with twelve others. Those twelve grew to one hundred and twenty and continued beyond. The focus and goal of this model is to lead others by setting leadership examples. Our former president, Don Dennison, was an amazing visionary and goal driven leader. He kept this company together. A good friend of mine said that we need another person like that. As with any business, target markets change or expand so the company must do the same to thrive. I believe that each member of our board of directors adds value and direction to achieve our mission to reach, encourage and inspire. As president, I take full responsible for any failures. All successes, however, are the result of our teamwork and commitment to adjust and fulfill this mission.
As Technology Director, I focus on the best tools for high-quality performance. These tools augment the Actors’ or speakers’ abilities that convey the reaching, encouraging and inspiring message to the audience. These tools must not distract or alter the plot. They help the audience understand the meaning and nuances of the story.
In both positions, the best efforts come from being flexible and teachable. It is vital to pass along everything we have learned to the next generation. I believe in cross training and preparation to pass along these skills. I encourage you to reach out to us and help us to expand our reach. I also encourage you to financially support us and grow this inspiring community called Hidden Treasure Productions.

PRODUCTION MANAGER
Kitty has been involved in theatre both on and off stage since childhood. She has a passion for theatre arts and for all involved with it's production. Her greatest desire is to be involved in the production of wholesome, meaningful, and uplifting entertainment that is safe for everyone to enjoy. Today’s world is often negative, yet God’s perspective is positive. Our goal at HTP is to promote a positive, encouraging mindset.
It’s been a privilege to serve on the board and seeing Productions that bring light and life to others.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
John Andy is an artistic director and photographer who also serves in a variety of production roles across theater and podcasting. Known for his adaptable, collaborative spirit, he brings a thoughtful yet carefree creative style to every project he joins.
His experience spans commercial and artistic productions throughout the country and abroad, sharpening his ability to navigate diverse environments and meet the demands of any stage of production. Whether working behind the camera, at the microphone, or backstage, John is driven by the thrill of the unknown and the opportunity to bring ideas to life.
He remains deeply grateful for every opportunity to create work that resonates—whether heard or seen—and considers it both an honor and a privilege to contribute to meaningful artistic experiences.
Outside the theatre, John is an avid surfer who bring the same sense of balance and rhythm from the waves to his creative work.
“Without art the crudness of reality would be unbearable” George Bernard Shaw

MEDIA MANAGER
Valerie Herrera is a podcast producer, host, and creative strategist with a passion for meaningful storytelling. She contributes to every production from concept to launch while also managing website development and social media.
In the past, Valerie has also served in multiple creative roles both on and off stage, including directing a play overseas. Her experience in live performance sharpened her ability to guide narratives, cultivate authentic performances, and shape stories that resonate deeply with audiences.
Ever since she was a child, Valerie has always had her nose in a book. Stories have been her lifelong companions — windows into new worlds, perspectives, and possibilities. That early love of reading grew into a calling: to help bring powerful stories to life.
She believes storytelling has the power to transform lives, shift perspectives, and uncover hidden truths. Valerie is deeply grateful for the platform to produce and share stories that inspire, challenge, and connect people in meaningful ways.

HEAD OF AUDIO ENTERTAINMENT
Kanaan has been working in theater and content creation for over a decade. From writing to creating stories in video and audio form alike he has worked as a producer on plenty of podcasts, audio dramas, and more. His goal is to encourage other creators and creatives in the theater and other entertainment space to reach past what they thought they could achieve as well as offer openings for them to do just that. In the way of creativity he has learned through study and actual time putting in the effort that looking before you leap can keep you from saying yes to the things that will change your life for the better. In the words of one of his writing idols;
“You can’t be that kid standing at the top of the waterslide, overthinking it. You have to go down the chute.” ― Tina Fey, Bossypants

IN LOVING MEMORY
Written by Kitty Inouye
Our founder, president, and CEO, Don Dennison, passed away in December 2022, quite unexpectedly. This was a shock to all of us at Hidden Treasure Productions. His wife, Beverly, the actors and stage crew, and the board are deeply moved by his loss yet thrilled that he is with the Lord. Don was larger than life and shone his light everywhere he went. His joyful smile is burned into our memories. I was privileged to attend 3 mission trips that he led, and I've never met a better leader. As a mission trip leader, he was kind, compassionate, yet firm and fair. He led Hidden Treasure Productions with that same determination and drive. He will be greatly missed. Until we meet again.
